Habitat: Low, acidic areas in northern areas.

Form: Shrub, 1-4 feet tall

Flower: Bell-shaped white to pink fleshy flower.

Fruit:Sweet seed-filled blue berries.

Foliage: Alternate ovate leaves

Notes: A delight for humans and other animals, this plant is found in forests and fields, producing rich sweet fruit in midsummer.
